Hi
Can someone what I will need as far as hardware is concerned, to use "vArranger" ?
thanks
Ron
Hello Ron,
To use vArranger, you need a PC.
You can use the mouse to enter the chords in the screen and play styles and midifiles.

But, if you want to play orchestrated music in realtime, you need a midi instrument. a midi keyboard, or midi guitar, or midi accordion...
If you midi instrument own a USB port, You plug it directly to the computer. If not, you need an Midi to USB adapter http://www.roland.com/products/en/UM-ONE_mk2
Then, you have the choice of the sound source. You can use any hardware or software GM synth.
Tell us what is your setup today?
Dan
Hi Dan
My Home Studio is very basic compared to others.
Yamaha PSR-2000
Yamaha USB Interface UX96
Yamaha MW12 USB Mixing Studio
Yamaha MSP10 Studio Reference Monitors
Yamaha SW10 Sub Woofer
I have a MacBook Air and a PC Laptop , a touch screen tablet sure looks good in the near future !!!!
please advise
Ron
So, you can plug the PSR2000 to the computer with the UX96 usb/midi interface, and use it as the master keyboard and the XG synth to play Yamaha and Roland styles with vArranger.
